Frequently asked questions
What is an HDRI?
An HDRI is a high-dynamic-range environment panorama. It lights your scene realistically and provides reflections and a background all at once.
Which resolutions are available?
HDRIs come in several resolutions (typically 1k–8k) as .hdr and .exr. Use 1k–2k for look-dev and 4k+ for final renders.
How do I set an HDRI as the environment?
With the MorfVision plugin the HDRI is set as the world in one click. Manually in Blender: World → Color → Environment Texture → pick the .hdr/.exr.
Can I use the assets in commercial projects?
Yes. CC0 assets can be used for anything with no attribution required. CC-BY assets just need an author credit. Suitable for archviz, games, ads and client work.
